Consultation Terms 

CONSULTATION AGREEMENT

 

The purpose of this agreement is to set forth an understanding between ________________________ ("Potential Client") and Ebony Anuforo (Attorney) for the very limited purposes of a legal consultation.

 

This is NOT an agreement to enter into an Attorney-Client relationship, nor is it a guarantee that the Attorney will agree to accept the case, whether there is a remedy available or not.

 

The Anuforo Law Firm will provide up to thirty minute consultation at $200 per consultation on the following matter:

 

The thirty minute consultation includes:

  • Review of documents (4 page maximum), facts, and immigration  or legal history;

  • Research and analysis based on applicable law;

  • Discussion with the client on options available to move forward, if any is available.

 

By scheduling a consultation, you agree that:

  • You understand that there is a $200 consultation fee;

  • You understand and agree that the consultation fee is required before booking a consultation;

  • You understand and agree that the consultation fee is NON-REFUNDABLE unless you give The Anuforo Law Firm at least 24 hours' notice of cancellation after appointment confirmation. NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • You understand that The Anuforo Law Firm will fully refund your prepaid consultation if we cancel the consultation due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

 

This agreement DOES NOT exceed the scope of the consultation detailed above. It does not include follow-up and additional questions that may require further research, filing any petition on behalf of the party named above, nor does it include assisting the party named above with preparing any immigration petition or other legal matter. If such an engagement becomes necessary, a new retainer agreement will be executed with the appropriate fees and terms for that service.

 

By scheduling a consultation and paying the $200 consultation fee, you agree that you have read and understand the above Consultation Agreement and willingly agree to the terms set forth.

If you need to send us documents or signed forms, you may mail them to our office located at 9 Homestead Pl. Suite 321, Jersey City, NJ 07306. (Please ensure that you send copies of any documents rather than originals, as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to original documents. By sending documents, you acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any original documents that may be lost, damaged, or not returned. We recommend keeping the original documents securely in your possession and only providing us with copies for review purposes.) You can also send them via email to attorney@anuforolaw.com

All consultations are pre-paid and only by appointment. Once the Attorney receives your pre-payment
